Children Now is a nonpartisan, California based advocacy organization for children focusing particular attention on children and families who are poor or at-risk. Combining substantive policy expertise with effective communications and advocacy strategies, their mission is to make children a top priority in California and the nation.
Historically, the Atlas Family Foundation has provided funding for Core Operating support. The purpose of our most recent grant is hire/retain staffing services for an initial six-month engagement to build and advance the Children's Movement and the Children's Agenda for California in Los Angeles, with a focus on early learning and development, and to strengthen Children Now's presence in Los Angeles.
The Atlas Family Foundation has been a Funding Partner of Children Now since 1996.
