Liberty Hill is recognized today as a leading social change foundation. It partners with innovative and effective grassroots organizations to combat poverty and injustice, and help transform Los Angeles into a place that promises safety, equality and opportunity for everyone who lives here. Liberty Hill accomplishes this mission by: (1) making grants to groups working to improve their neighborhoods and communities; (2) providing tailored training, coaching and networking to help grassroots leaders reach their goals; (3) helping shape the debate on key issues in the region; and (4) providing programs and services to promote strategic and thoughtful philanthropy.
Liberty Hill has been funding social and economic justice work in diverse, marginalized communities for 30 years.
